It has been a great privilege to teach children for the past 25 years.  I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Florida Southern College in 1986.  In 1998, I earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Education with a Language Arts Emphasis (Reading, Writing, and Spelling).  In addition, I also have an endorsement to teach English to Speakers of Other Languages. 

I have experience teaching children and adults of all ages in a variety of cultural settings, but most of my years (18 of them!) have been spent teaching kindergarten and first grade.  Kindergarteners have a special place in my heart!
